Nu-Calgon GelTabs 4185-03 Condensate Pan Treatment Tablet, 12 Tube, 8.3, Solid, Fresh Gel Tabs are formulated with a breakthrough gel locking technology for treating air conditioning drain pans and lines. Keeps the drain pan from clogging and eliminates foul and musty odors. Four sizes are available: 3 Ton, 5 Ton, 15 Ton, and 20 Ton tabs. For added convenience, the 3 Ton and 5 Ton Gel Tabs are also offered in a bulk pack. The 3 Ton bulk pack contains 200 tabs, and the 5 Ton bulk pack contains 100 tabs. Multiple Gel Tabs can be added to the pan to acquire the necessary treatment for larger systems. Gel Tabs are easy to use. Put them into the drain pan and forget about them. When activated by condensation, the tablet will turn to gel and lock into place. This ensures that the tab will not move and potentially block the drain. Gel Tabs are designed to completely dissolve at an even rate over a 3 month period leaving nothing to remove when the product is done working.

It is a lubricant that blends with the systems oil, lasting for the life of the equipment, or until the oil is changed. In recent years, A/C Re-New has been successfully used to aid in existing oil migration when retrofitting an R-22 air conditioning system with a near drop-in refrigerant; examples include R-427A and R-407C and others. Liquid ice machine cleaner is a 75% phosphoric acid of the highest food-grade quality. It is fast acting yet very safe to use and it does not give off any harsh fumes. Because of its 75% phosphoric acid content, it is the most concentrated ice machine cleaner in the market. It has a specific gravity of 1.63 and weighs 13.6 lb/Gallon. Usage rate is 8 fl-oz with threeGallons of water. The number one category of problems troubling an ice machine are water-related and the most frequently is lime scale. As the water is frozen into ice during an ice maker's cycle, the naturally occurring dissolved minerals in the water, some of which can combine to form lime scale, remain behind in the unfrozen recirculating ice water simply because water tries to freeze in its pure state. As the cycle continues and more water is made into ice, the minerals over concentrate and eventually precipitate as a lime scale deposit. As the scale begins to form, it creates a physical obstruction that results in: plugged distribution holes, restricted water flow and eventually the ice maker will hang-up or jam. Ice harvest is reduced and eventually the machine will shut down, requiring service. This sequence of events can affect both cubers and flakers. Some believe that flakers are free of scale problems since all of the water is made into ice. Not true. Flakers can scale-up as well, jamming the auger and eventually resulting in a broken belt or drive mechanism.
