Nu-Calgon 4300-08 RX Systems. Its patented HFC based solvent formulation is powerful enough to flush away sludge, carbon residue, oils, acids, water and other particulate. This makes it ideal for system flushing after burnouts, retrofits and for flushing line sets for R-410A conversions. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and is non-ozone depleting. From time to time, refrigeration and air conditioning systems suffer failures which result in contamination. The most common such failure is a compressor burnout. During such an event, the refrigeration system becomes contaminated with large quantities of unwanted particulate, sludge, acids, carbon residues and possibly moisture. All of these contaminants must be removed before the system can be returned to duty.
Nu-Calgon 4383-24 Vacuum Pump Oil 1 Quart,
Nu-Calgon 4185-75 Great Wipes Waterless Hand Towel for HVACR and Plumbing Great Wipes Industrial Strength Hand Towels are waterless wipes made specifically for the air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing service technician. Each premoistened, heavy duty towel has strong pumice scrubbing power that conveniently cleans anywhere and anytime. The powerful, yet safe, cleaning agents in Great Wipes work together with an absorbent, non-scratching abrasive hand towel. The result is hands that are clean and left residue-free with a pleasant orange fragrance. These shop size durable towels quickly absorb to remove substances, such as lubricant, grime, ink, tar, caulk, sealant paint, epoxy, adhesive, grease, urethane, and much more.

Nu-Calgon 4207-P2 Liquid ice machine cleaner is a 75% phosphoric acid of the highest food-grade quality. It is fast acting yet very safe to use and it does not give off any harsh fumes. Because of its 75% phosphoric acid content, it is the most concentrated ice machine cleaner in the market. It has a specific gravity of 1.63 and weighs 13.6 lb/Gallon. Usage rate is 8 fl-oz with threeGallons of water. The number one category of problems troubling an ice machine are water-related and the most frequently is lime scale. As the water is frozen into ice during an ice maker's cycle, the naturally occurring dissolved minerals in the water, some of which can combine to form lime scale, remain behind in the unfrozen recirculating ice water simply because water tries to freeze in its pure state. As the cycle continues and more water is made into ice, the minerals over concentrate and eventually precipitate as a lime scale deposit. As the scale begins to form, it creates a physical obstruction that results in: plugged distribution holes, restricted water flow and eventually the ice maker will hang-up or jam. Ice harvest is reduced and eventually the machine will shut down, requiring service. This sequence of events can affect both cubers and flakers. Some believe that flakers are free of scale problems since all of the water is made into ice. Not true. Flakers can scale-up as well, jamming the auger and eventually resulting in a broken belt or drive mechanism.
Nu-Calgon 4314-66 The Emkarate family of lubricants is a wide range of polyol ester refrigeration oil products. They are designed specifically for use with HFC refrigerants, developed to meet the performance demands of the refrigeration industry. This superior performance is achieved with base fluids that are specifically formulated to deliver optimum performance with minimal additive levels.
- Fully formulated polyol ester lubricant
- OEM approved, including Copeland approved RL32-3MAF
- Compatible with mineral oils, alkylbenzenes and PAG's
Nu-Calgon 4364-88 Season treat inhibits scale formation by holding the scale forming minerals in solution long enough to be carried away through the bleed off. It also forms a microscopic, thin protective film on metal surfaces to reduce corrosion. Because of 6R Micromet's consistent slow dissolve rate, it achieves a uniform concentration of treatment over a long period of time. When the product is about 2/3 dissolved, which should be in about 6 months of operation with average water temperatures, discard the remaining canister or charge of 6R micromet and add a new charge.
- A season treat canister will last about 6 months in 75 deg F water
- Keeps equipment operating at designed capacity
- Prevents scale caused breakdowns
- Reduces maintenance and need for acid cleaning
- Prolongs equipment life
- Low cost treatment
- One charge lasts 5 - 6 months
Nu-Calgon 4303-07 All viscosities are manufactured by Calumet Lubricant Co. and are approved by Copeland, Trane and other compressor manufacturers, approvals varying by viscosity. They are specifically designed for today's high performance air conditioning and refrigeration compressors. These modern compressors run at higher speeds and generate higher temperatures and they need better lubrication. Use of C-3s, C-4s, and C-5s mineral oil will insure continued efficient system operation, providing the important properties required from a good refrigeration oil. Nu-Calgon mineral oils combine excellent solubility and stability with good floc and pour points to provide excellent low temperature performance.
- Recommended by OEM's for use with CFC's and HCFC's
- Approved by OEM's including Copeland, Carlyle, etc.
- C-3s is approved replacement for 3GS
Nu-Calgon 4371-36 Thermo-Trap Heat Absorbing Paste, 11 oz Tube, Gray to Technically, Thermo-Trap is referred to as a heat sink. This means that it has an extremely high capacity for absorbing heat. Applied to the metal working surface between the area being heated and the material to be protected, Thermo-Trap soaks up heat and reduces heat transfer. This keeps heat from spreading beyond the work area. Heat-sensitive components, installed fittings, etc., on the other side of Thermo-Trap stay cool and are not damaged by transmitted heat.
