Fieldpiece Instruments SRH3 In-Duct Diagnostic Psychrometer, 0 - 100% RH, The SRH3 In-duct Psychrometer is a great tool to properly charge fixed restrictor systems by quickly determining the target superheat, and to help determine optimum airflow across the evaporator with a target evaporator exit temperature test. To assist HVACR professionals get the proper measurements, Fieldpiece engineered this in-duct psychrometer to take measurements in the duct where they are supposed to be taken -- near the evaporator! The 38" telescoping probe's laser etched ruling and flattened edges allows techs to locate proper measurement points within a duct, and ensures that the probe is properly aligned. With the quick sensor it's a snap to determine target superheat, and take target evaporator exit temperature tests

Fieldpiece Instruments STA2 is a Hot-wire Anemometer built for the HVACR professionals' air balancing needs. The compact probe tip makes measuring air velocity directly in the duct a breeze. It's great for traversing a duct and automatically calculating CFM without the hassle and expense of a bulky hood. The 38" telescoping probe's laser etched ruling and flattened edges allows techs to locate proper measurement points within a duct, and ensures that the probe is properly aligned. This in duct hot-wire anemometer quickly calculates CFM from air velocity and free area. And with the intuitive interface, the STA2 makes it easy to capture the correct data.

Fieldpiece Instruments SRL2K7 Infrared Refrigerant Leak Detector Kit, 3.7 Like all of Fieldpiece's test instruments, the SRL2 infrared refrigerant leak detector is designed exclusively to make the HVACR Technician's job easier, faster, safer and more efficient. We set out to develop the best refrigerant leak detector for HVACR. We believe the SRL2 is it. It comes in kit form in a rugged, blow-mold case with all of the extras. The ergonomic design fits naturally in your hand. The ruggedized construction stands up to abuse most other leak detectors can't handle. The eight-hour battery life lets you work all day before recharging and the included vehicle and wall chargers help you during overtime. The mute and peak functions allow you to work the way you want to work. The magnetic hanger helps keep the detector out of the way when repairing a leak, but visible enough so you won't leave it on the job.

Fieldpiece Instruments ST4 Ruggedized Rubber Digital Display Dual The Fieldpiece dual-temperature meter, model ST4, measures 2 temperatures simultaneously using the included k-type, wrap tab beaded thermocouples. The technology inside the ST4 provides superior temperature compensation in rapidly changing environments commonly found while performing field service. Use the ST4 to find delta T and just about any temperature split you want to measure. Displays T1, T2 and T1-T2 in big numbers on the LCD screen. Features 2 front face calibration pots and comes in our clear front case with magnetic hanger model ANC6. Use with our optional ATWB1 wet buLbs. thermocouple to help you find target superheat or with our pipe clamp T/Cs to check for blocked dryer filters. Because of the technology employed inside the ST4, it offers superior temperature compensation in rapidly changing environments commonly found while performing field service. Meters with thermocouple adapters often take a long time to stabilize due to transfer of ambient heat. The ST4, as with all of our k-type thermometers and meters, stabilizes rapidly so you can take it from the rooftop to the walk-in and get more accurate readings faster than the competition. Plus it includes the rugged rubber boot and the hanging bag for easy, hands-free testing, while you're working on the rest of your call.

Fieldpiece Instruments S365 Charging JacketCharging Jacket is a reliable way to charge TXV systems in cold weather. Normally, low temperatures remove too much heat from the condenser coils, so HVACR professionals should only work on TXV systems when the outside air temperature is 70 deg F or higher. Now, the new Fieldpiece Charging Jacket solves that problem, and TXV systems can be accurately charged down to 37 deg F outside temps. It's the perfect tool to dramatically extend the hours in a day, and the days in a year, where techs can install, service, and charge TXV systems. Made from parachute-grade material, the Charging Jacket is attached to the top of a split TXV system with hooks, so that the air inlet is not restricted. Then the unit is turned on the jacket puffs up from the air being forced out of the air outlet. The top is then adjusted with a drawstring until the proper pressure differential is reached between the high and low side (between 160 psi and 220 psi for R410A; and between 100 psi and 145 psi for R22). Once the systems stabilizes for 15 minutes at the correct pressure differential, the system is ready to be charged.

					- Charge TXV systems in cold weather
 - Charge TXV systems from 37 - 70 deg F outside
 - Service maintenance contracts before and after the summer heat
 - Easy to adjust to reach correct pressure differential
 - Great way to increase business during the slow season
 - Field tested for accuracy
 - Looks professional
 - Extend billable hours
 - There is no other product on the market made specifically for this purpose
 - Currently, HVACR professionals either do not work on TXV systems if it is below 70 deg F outside, or, if it's an emergency techs might use their actual jackets or cardboard to block the air inlet
 - The problem is those methods are inaccurate
 - The charging jacket's advantage is that it works to bring the pressure drop across the TXV to at least 160 psi and therefore has the same effect on the system as higher temperatures do
 - HVACR professionals can now dramatically extend their billable hours because they can work on systems during the off season
 - So instead of having the do service contract check-ups during the summer rush, service and maintenance can be start early in the spring, and continue late into the fall
 - And even year-round in many parts of the country
 - Parachute grade
